If you are looking to find and quickly enroll new personal assistants OR if you are looking for new or additional care/support work, PPL’s MyAccount Connect feature can help.
PPL Connect is a searchable registry of personal assistant profiles available through PPL’s MyAccount system.

Kansans with disabilities are looking to pay for personal assistants to help them stay in their homes and remain active in their communities. Public Partnerships | PPL has launched PPL Connect a site where individuals interested in providing care can register to connect with a Kansan hiring. Kansans with disabilities can search and connect with personal assistants through PPL’s MyAccount portal and its Connect feature.
You will be guided to register with PPL’s MyAccount portal which will then allow you to build your personal searchable profile within the Connect feature.
Building a profile in the Connect feature is quick and easy. All you need to do is fill in a simple form containing:

If a Kansan with disabilities or their authorized representative is interested in talking to you, they can reach out through a secure direct messaging feature within Connect. You’ll be notified that you received a message and can choose to speak to them to see if your needs align.
None of your contact details will be shared with the individual hiring until you decide to share them.
When you are both ready to move forward with the hiring, your potential new employer simply initiates the process through the MyAccount portal.
Note: Once your profile is setup, you must log back into MyAccount to check if a Kansan STEPS Member would like to chat with you.

Public Partnerships | PPL is contracted by KDHE to support Kansans with disabilities in their choice to self-direct their own long-term care. Specifically, we support STEPS program participants in their role as the employer, to hire and pay for their chosen personal assistant(s) and services on their behalf. This is all funded by the participant’s state approved, personalized plan and budget.
Self-Directing Home Care Kansan STEPS program participants use PPL’s MyAccount portal to manage all their information, authorized budgets, and program documentation. Connect is feature of this tool.
