USCIS Form I-9 Changes

U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has released three short videos for employees and employers that demonstrate how to complete the Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9. As a service to Public Partnerships Employees, the information and resources are provided here. Watch the new Form I-9 videos and learn how to complete Sections 1, 2, and 3. Each vignette walks the viewer through the key steps in four minutes or less. Remember to name your employer, the person you care for.

Video: Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification - Section One: Every time you start a new job, your new employer will ask you to complete Section One of the Form I-9. This short video makes it easier. Employers may want to show this video to their new employee.

Video: Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification - Section Two U.S. employers must complete Section Two of the Form I-9 for everyone hired. This short video highlights what every employer should know.

Video: Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification - Section Three Sometimes employers must complete Section Three of the Form I-9 because they are recertifying or rehiring an employee. View this short video for an explanation of that process.

Visit I-9 Central or view the Handbook for Employers Guidance for Completing Form I-9 (M-274) for more information.
