We are pleased to announce that the New Jersey Department of Health has launched a program that can provide in-home COVID-19 vaccine appointments for homebound persons and has begun accepting requests for this important service.
If you are unable to leave home to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, or are the family member or caregiver of someone who is homebound, you may request an in-home vaccination appointment by completing this Request for In-Home Vaccination.
For assistance completing the survey by phone, please call the NJ COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 1-855-568-0545.
After you submit the request, the Department of Health will share information with a home health agency, local health department, or other vaccination providers and you will be contacted to schedule an in-home vaccination appointment.

In order to receive vaccination as soon as possible, if you are able to safely attend a medical appointment outside the home, we encourage you to book an appointment at an open vaccination site if an opportunity occurs before an in-home appointment is made available to you.
January 5, 2020 - Important COVID-19 Update: Vaccine Access
New Jersey is rolling out COVID-19 vaccines step-by-step to serve all who live, work or study in the state.
Beginning in mid-December and continuing into early 2021, vaccine access will be given to New Jersey’s Phase 1A Group: health care workers, who are paid and unpaid persons serving in healthcare settings who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients or infectious materials. Phase 1A also includes long-term care residents and staff. The Phase 1a definition of health care workers includes all paid and unpaid Home Care Workers, including Certified Home Health Aides, Personal Care Assistants, Private Duty Nurses, In-Home therapists, visiting nurses, and other similar workers like medical day staff.

Trenton – Governor Phil Murphy, Senate President Steve Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin issued the following joint statement today on the tax filing deadline and the state budget timetable:
“The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused hardships, financial strain, and disruptions for many New Jerseyans and New Jersey businesses. As part of our response, we have reached agreement that the state income tax filing deadline and the corporation business tax filing deadline will be extended from April 15th to July 15th.
“Additionally, as part of the whole-of-government effort that is going into fighting COVID-19, we have agreed that the state fiscal year should be extended to September 30th. This will allow the Administration and the Legislature to focus fully on leading New Jersey out of this crisis, and to allow for a robust, comprehensive, and well-informed budget process later in the year.
“We are committed to working together to enact the necessary legislation and supplemental appropriations to accomplish these goals.”
